Daryna Berezina is a Ukrainian poet, a writer, a translator, a playwright, a prize-winner of multiple literature
competitions, and a member of the National Union of Writers since 2006. For six
years she taught English and linguistic special courses at the university in
her city. The novel The Department earned
her an award from the Smoloskyp (Torch) Ukrainian independent publishing house.

Now she works as a freelance literary translator.
