Source text - English Increasing of population growth has triggered to the invention and development of un-depleted and easy-renewable energy. Several of Renewable Energies (RE) such as photovoltaic, wind, and fuel cell have been developed rapidly in line with the depletion, environmental, and energy pricing issue on fossil fuel resource (Ang et al., 2012). Application of these RE’s is not limited as supported power, yet also as the main power generation.
Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) as one type of applicable fuel cell has been proven as promises power generation since having high efficiency and high output power (Bhattacharyya, Rengaswamy, & Finnerty, 2007). However, limitation the starting time of SOFC making this power source become inefficient to follow the rapid change of load profile. Combination between power storage and SOFC in hybrid power plant has been acceptable to improve system performance and hence efficiency of the system (Burer, Tanaka, Favrat, & Yamada, 2003).
Translation - Indonesian Peningkatan populasi telah memicu penemuan dan pengembangan energy terbarukan. Beberapa tipe energy terbarukan seperti sel surya, turbin angina dan sel bakar telah dikembangkan seiring dengan beberapa masalah yang timbul akibat penggunaan energy fosil seperti penipisan, permasalahan lingkungan dan meningkatnya harga energy fosil (Ang et al., 2012). Aplikasi dari energy terbarukan tidak hanya terbatas sebagai energy cadangan, namun juga sebagai energy utama.
Sel bahan bakar oksida padat (SOFC) merupakan salah satu tipe sel bahan bakar yang memiliki efisiensi dan daya keluaran tinggi (Bhattacharyya, Rengaswamy & Finnerty, 2007). Akan tetapi, kelemahan dalam waktu permulaan dari SOFC membuat sumber energy ini menjadi tidak efisien untuk beroperasi mengikuti perubahan beban. Kombinasi antara penyimpan daya dan SOFC dalam system campuran telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sistem dalam beroperasi dan juga meningkatkan efisiensi daripada sistem (Burer, Tanaka, Favrat, & Yamada, 2003).
