My name is Rosa Bosma and I work for my own Virtual Assistant business. I am mostly (and proudly) self-educated and also design themes for WordPress websites. As a Virtual Assistant, I support clients in many different ways, such as helping them with their WordPress website, managing social media and/or newsletters, writing or translating text, taking care of administrative tasks, and so forth.

I have always had a passion for language and writing. As early as in primary school, teachers noticed my developing talent and encouraged me to leverage it - and that was obviously before I even learnt to write and speak English. The most rewarding experience took place when I was 10 years old: I turned out to be the winner of a writing competition with about 1000 participating children! A well-known Dutch author wrote a children's book based on my story, and this book also has my name on it. It is still available in Dutch shops today. I primarily live in the Netherlands but my significant other is British, and I come over to the UK a lot, which has been a huge help in fine-tuning my English and becoming familiar with colloquialisms. I personally believe that this gives me an advantage when it comes to translating language (Dutch) from and to English. Before that, English was already one of my favourite and best subjects in high school. As you probably imagine, I use English a lot, both in my personal and professional life.
