Bhaskar, an award winning journalist and author, is university merit scholar, did his masters in science from Patna University and joined The Times of India, Mumbai as Trainee Journalist. Has successfully edited national and regional dailies with an unblemished record of quality performance spanning over decades. Has also worked with a diplomatic mission as Senior Editor-Information and has attended specially designed Information Studies Programme at Central Office of Information (COI) and Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) London, UK. Teaches PG students of communication in his spare time. Is presently engaged as freelance Linguist and Editor with Language Connect International, UK. Also, worked as consultant for CARE, Bihar and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and did content conversion for their entire content on Family Planning and Reproductive Health (about six modules running in four hundred pages). The content is to be used for training of ANMs and other rural health workers of Hindi speaking states. Has excelled in leader writing on contemporary social issues and translated, edited, curated and reproduced about 500 power-packed articles from The Times, The Guardian, Sunday Mail, Time, Newsweek, NYT, The Post, Pravda and Le Mond.
