I am a technical and medical translator, now freelance after many years as an in-house translator.
I translate English and Italian into French, about 2,500 to 3,500 words per day (around 3 million words already translated). I do editing, proofreading and glossary creation as well.
My translation experience allows me to translate:
- user’s manuals/IFUs for any machine or tool (various tools, domestic appliances, camcorder, printer)
- manuals and software for medical devices (MRI, CT-scan, linear accelerator, laboratory machine, navigation software)
- any medical and pharmaceutical documents (leaflet, clinical trial, labeling)
My specialties in medical translation are mostly orthopedics/traumatology, andrology/urology and ophthalmology. But I do have some knowledge in many other fields, among which forensics and veterinary. |
