Though a native German, I studied in French as from the age of 12, which explains why I work in both the French and German booth.
I studied as a Conference Interpreter, then I did a BA in management and marketing, after which I became a senior purchaser in a multinational company (nmc-kenmore, Belgium) before becoming self-employed as a conference interpreter.
I am ICQ (Interprète Conseil Qualité = Quality Consulting Interpreter) certified with the Belgian Royal Chamber of Translators and Interpreters and I am a solutions engineer to my clients.
I have developed my own clientele mainly in the fields of sustainable development, energy, controlling and finance. More than half of my clients have been with me for over 10 years, which should say enough as regards my striving for the best quality/price/service ratio.
I consider that my core business is to deliver conference communication, including interpreting, documents translation, but to some of them I also provide the pre-press (quark-x-press) and publishing, or even arrange for meeting rooms, housing and catering.
