I am a native United States English speaker with years of experience translating both Japanese and Chinese into English. I hold both the highest level Japanese and Chinese language certificates, JLPT1 and HSK8. I can also read and translate Korean. Knowledge of all three languages gives me special insight into projects coming from Northeast Asia.

I hold a Masters Degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where I specialized in Northeast Asia affairs. I have analytical experience in political and economic affairs, having worked in several Japanese and American think tanks.

I was the White House producer for 3three years at Nippon TV, one of Japan's largest TV stations, where I translated daily US news into Japanese. In total I have translated scientific journal articles, economic and political reports, and technical manuals in both Chinese and Japanese. I am also proficient in legal work and video game translations.
