Swedish to English Other Transport / Transportation / Shipping Public transport
Also "störningsinformatör." A person whose job it is to make service-related announcements, particularly in case of service disruption, via loudspeakers dspeakers to the public within the transport system. Is there a standard English term for this?

informatör has a wider meaning than announcer (eg they could be at a customer service desk also) but if this refers only to someone making announcements over loudspeaker system then announcer would suit
