without interruption Explanation: See the first link for the example Swedish sentence in the description of the UPS (uninterruptible power source). The second link shows concordances of blinkfritt with uninterruptible/without interruption. I have a UPS right next to me as I enter this. :-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 mins (2010-11-29 16:25:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry, the example sentence was compressed when it came over. It should read: "Vid ett strömavbrott går UPS:en blinkfritt över till batteridrift under den tid det tar för reservkraftaggregaten att automatiskt starta." Example sentence(s):

instantaneously Explanation: I think this means that the UPS switches on so fast that there is not even time to blink. Cf the use of "ögonblickligen" to mean "in an instant" or "in the blink of an eye". |
