localized Virtual Machines Explanation: localization is, as you may well know, getting software, etc. working in different languages (others will know more about this than I!), while "virtual machine" is a common enough term in the world of software programming, meaning (very roughly) software that emulates other software. It sounds as if they're talking about software that's been localized (localised in UK?) to work for any language need. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 mins (2008-03-16 17:15:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- (and on whatever OS—operating system—as they go on to indicate...) |
