Pursuant to the following documentation submitted by the sponsor, which is on file Explanation: I wonder if the punctuation and word order are a bit odd - I would have thought "sottoelencata" should go after "documentazione". And if the documents aren't listed until much later, you could put "listed below" instead of "the following". |

HAVING REGARD TO Explanation: This is the accepted translation for the term VISTA or VISTO in the EU technical and legislative documents I've been working on for several years now. I would say that 'pursuant' is not really applicable since an action is not being taken because of the following documents, rather a decision is being made in compliance with them. The point may be moot, but I thought it was worth noting. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 hrs (2014-03-30 08:18:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- to answer your question, Anthony, 'HAVING REGARD TO the documents sent by the sponsor for filing, as listed below:' This is how I have rendered this very same sentence many times. You may find another 'more elegant' rendering. However, in these Drug Trial documents, elegance counts for very little. They need to be clear and concise. This is something only few Italians are capable of. |
