peer agreement (net): +1free market customers / (customers in) protected categories Explanation: Italy has been trying to "liberalise" its energy market for some years now and create a completely free market where prices are not regulated. At present customers are divided into three categories "liberi" (free), "tutelati" (generally translated as protected categories) and then "salvaguardati" (generally translated as safeguarded categories). Most consumers, like me, are in the "tutelati" group. While most developed countries have tried to liberalise their energy markets, as would be expected none is in precisely the same specific position as Italy with precisely these categories, so no equivalent translation is available (I know cos I've looked). unbound clients, clients protected by a contract Explanation: commerciali e la gestione dei contratti di fornitura; a decorrere dal 1° luglio 2007 i clienti finali domestici hanno diritto di recedere dal preesistente contratto di fornitura di energia elettrica come clienti vincolati, secondo modalita' stabilite dall'Autorita' per l'energia elettrica e il gas, e di scegliere un fornitore diverso dal proprio distributore. In mancanza di tale scelta, l'erogazione del servizio per i clienti finali domestici non riforniti di energia elettrica sul mercato libero e' garantita dall'impresa di distribuzione, anche attraverso apposite societa' di vendita, e la funzione di approvvigionamento continua ad essere svolta dall'Acquirente unico S.p.a. di cui all'art. 4 del decreto legislativo 16 marzo 1999, n. 79. Le imprese connesse in bassa tensione, aventi meno di 50 dipendenti e un fatturato annuo non superiore a 10 milioni di euro sono automaticamente comprese nel regime di tutela di cui al presente comma; |
