There are hundreds of examples from English books: http://books.google.de/books?q="river eyes"&as_brr=0 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 41 mins (2007-01-19 17:18:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Excuse me, hundreds would be wildly exaggerating the number, but there are some good ones and I don't see reason not to use "river" as an adjective.
