German term

einen Arbeitsablauf in einer Person vereinen

German to English Marketing Media / Multimedia
KONTEXT: "Dabei unterscheidet er sich gegenüber der Mehrzahl seinen Berufskollegen dadurch, dass er Bilder nicht nur selber nachbearbeitet sondern auch selbst fotografiert. Somit ist er einer der wenigen Künstler, die den kompletten Arbeitsablauf von der Idee im Kopf bis hin zum fertig illustrierten Print in einer Person vereinen. "

Last question for today. :-) Not sure if I've fully understood the last sentence here. It's the "in einer Person vereinen" that's confusing me. I think it's saying that the artist can, AS one person, combine the workflow (from the idea in his head through to the final illustrated print) etc., nicht wahr?

He handles the entire process himself

I basically agree with Stephen, no need to use the word "person", but I think you have to underscore the "in einer Person" idea in the German text, in other words, the notion that he does it himself.

conducts

You need to get away from a literal translation here, with something like:

The artist conducts the entire work process, from the original idea to the finished print

to incorporate the entire work process himself

"He is one of the few artists to incorporate the entire work process himself from conception to the finished illustrated print."
