reading the explanation in this paper (page five, see reference), I think it's best to give a description, after you name the German word. Something like: "Einbürgerungszusicherung: assured citizenship at maturity with permanent residency until then"

disagree  Reuben Proctor: Far too restrictive - It has little to do with maturity. It is a promise of naturalisation pending loss/renunciation of the current citizenship or fulfilment of other prerequisites. It is an attempt to avoid dual nationality
