Safe Work Permit (SWP) - A formal document that is developed jointly by a Facility Representative (Permit Issuer) and a representative of the work crew (Permit Receiver) that defines the scope, hazards, safety precautions, and any special circumstances regarding the work to be performed and authorizes the work to be executed. Equivalent to legacy XXXX ***Critical Work Permit*** (CWP).
