Si parla del montaggio delle tubazioni lubrificante, e a un certo punto dice:

So che "brake booster" vuol dire "servofeno", ma che c'entra in questo caso? Credo che in generale stia parlando di rinforzare le tubazioni, ma non ho capito come...

l'interpreto così: occorre itirare i tubi della lubrificazione una volta montati quelli del servofreno, altrimenti facendo nel caso contrario il tubo di gomma del servofreno strisciando contro le fascette di fissaggio si potrebbe rovinare.
rubber può essere usato anche come nome per interndere rubber hose. confronta il link
