: literally translated = settled, but 'retreated to' would probably be better...YES tea leaves settle, BUT ......so do humans (e.g. I settled in Australia)

when tea leaves "sich absetzen" in the tea, they settle. But when human beings "sich absetzen", they make a run for it. // du hast dich in Australien niedergelassen, bis immigriert... aber nicht "dich nach/in Australien abgesetzt" :-)
