Source text - English 1) Talking of odd, natural numbers, what do you think of its squares?
2) Lets Consider the odd natural numbers 1 3 5 7 and 9
3) Consider any two consecutive odd numbers, say twenty-one and twenty-three.
4) Here, 9 can be written as 4 plus 5.
5) This shows that apart from 1, the square of any odd natural number can be expressed as the sum of two consecutive natural numbers.
6)Applying the binomial product's formula: A plus B into A minus B is A squared minus B squared, we get that twenty-two minus 1 into twenty-two plus 1 is twenty-two squared minus 1 squared.
7) You've knocked this out of the park! Phenomenal!
8) This can also be rephrased as that the square of a natural number N is equal to the sum of first N odd numbers.
9) We also learned that between any 2 consecutive square numbers, say, n square and n plus one square, there exist 2n non-square numbers
