يُصرّ بعض النقّاد على أن يُقدّموا أعمال المفكّر كما لو كانت تندرج دوماً ضمن «مشروع» فكريّ مُتكامل PROJET، وهم يعرضونها كما لو تمخّضت عن قرار تأليف وتخطيط معقلن محسوب، هذا رغم تبيّنهم أنها غالباً ما تكون استجابات لحظية وتفاعلاً مُتحوّلاً مع المحيط الثقافي والظّرف التاريخي. صحيح أنّ مجال اشتغال المفكر غالباً ما لا يحيد، في نهاية الأمر، عن اهتمامات بعينها، اهتمامات يمكن أن تختزل في مسار بعينه، إلّا أن ذلك قد لا يكفي للنّظر إلى ذلك المسار، كما لو أنّه انكشف لصاحبه منذ إشراقة أوّل صباح، وكما لو رسمته إرادة واعية مُتحكّمة، و«برمجه» عقل مدبّر مهيمن، و«ألّف» بين أجزائه مهندس قدير.
ولعلّ من المفيد، توضيحاً لذلك، أن نتوقّف بعض الشيء عند كلمة «مشروع» هذه. فإذا نحن استبعدنا المعنى الزماني الاستباقي الذي تُستخدم فيه كلمة PROJECTION من حيث هي ارتماء في المستقبل، ذلك المعنى الذي يفترض أن المؤلّف سلطة تهيمن على العمل منذ بداياته وتتحكّم في أجزائه وتضبط مراحله، ويسَلّم أن ما يصدر عن المفكّر وليد نوايا وتخطيطات وسبق إصرار، وإذا تجاوزنا كذلك المعنى المكاني للّفظ، ذلك المعنى الذي ينقله أصحاب الهندسة بكلمة «إسقاط»، فإنّ له معنى آخرَ يستخدمه أصحاب البصريات عندما يتكلمون عمّا يدعونه PROJECTION D’UN FAISCEAU LUMINEUX، ما ينقله أساتذتنا في العلوم الفزيائية بعبارة: «إرسال حزمة ضوئية». المعروف أن هذه الحزمة تلتئم في نهاية الأمر لترسم على الشاشة بُقعة ضوئية يتبلور عندها ذلك الإرسال، هاهنا تتخذ الحزمة أهميتها نسبة إلى مساحة التبلور أكثر مما تتخذها نسبة إلى مصدر الضوء ومنبعه، فكأنّ تلك المساحة هي التي تسلّط الأضواء على المنبع وتنير مصدره.
Translation - French Un projet différé ?
D’aucuns critiques insistent de présenter les œuvres du penseur comme faisant partie d’un projet de pensée intégral, comme si elles étaient le résultat d'une décision rationnelle et calculée de les compiler et les planifier. Ils savent, tout de même, qu’il s’agit le plus souvent de réactions instantes et d’interactions variables avec le contexte culturel et la conjoncture historiques. Certes, le champ de travail intellectuel d'un penseur ne déroge souvent pas à des préoccupations particulières que l'on peut réduire à un parcours bien défini, mais cela ne suffira peut-être pas pour dire qu'un tel parcours est un projet qui s'est révélé au penseur ab initio, comme s'il avait été préparé par une volonté consciente et sage, programmé par un cerveau puissant et compilé par un grand architecte.
Pour expliquer ce point, il serait pertinent de se pencher sur le mot « projet. » Hors le sens temporel du mot, voir se projeter dans le futur, supposant que l’auteur est une autorité qui contrôle l’œuvre, ses parties et ses étapes dès le début, et reconnait que ses idées sont le résultat d’intentions, de plans et de préméditations; et hors le sens spatial de « projection » en géométrie, le terme a un autre sens en optique. On parle, par exemple, de « projection d’un faisceau lumineux. ». Comme nous le savons, le faisceau finit par converger. Ainsi, on obtient sur l'écran un point lumineux qui cristallise cette émission. C'est ici que le faisceau devient plus important pour la zone de cristallisation que pour la source de la lumière. C'est comme si c'était cette zone qui illuminait sa source et son origine.

ان مليشيات الحوثي فقدت صوابها بعد تلقيها ضربات موجعة من قبل الوية العمالقة والمقاومة التهامية وفصائل المقاومة الاخرى في مدينة الحديدة صارت كمن اصابه المس الذي لا يدري في اي اتجاه يركل وهذا مؤشرا" بانها تحتضر ولن تقوى على الصمود والمواجهة في ميادين النزال لأنها تشعر بان هزيمة مشروعها الظلامي الذي دشنته المقاومة الجنوبية في تحرير الجنوب وامتدت الى المخاء والساحل الغربي وصعدة بات قاب قوسين او ادنى ٠
وإذ تهيب الهيئة القيادية للحزب الاشتراكي في الجنوب بكل القوى السياسية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والشخصيات العامة إدانة مثل هذه الأعمال أشد الإدانة فإنها تؤكد على اهمية الصمود في وجه هذه الفئة المعادية للإنسان والوطن.

سفير اليمن بلندن: اليمن تعرض لظلم كبير.. و«القاعدة» تسعى إلى عزله لتنفيذ مخخطاتها
قال السفير اليمني لدى المملكة المتحدة عبد الله الرضي، إن بلاده تعرضت لظلم كبير جراء الحملة الإعلامية التي طالتها مؤخرا في أعقاب إرسال طردين مشبوهين من اليمن اكتشفا في مطاري دبي في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وإيست ميدلاندز في بريطانيا. وذكر أن عددا من الدول اتخذت إجراءات ظالمة تتعلق بعمليات الشحن والسفر من وإلى اليمن وكذلك إجراءات ضد الخطوط الجوية اليمنية وغير ذلك من الإجراءات التي وصفها بالظالمة.
وذكر الرضي، في حوار أجرته معه «الشرق الأوسط» في مكتبه بسفارة صنعاء في لندن، أن الطرود المرسلة قد تم اكتشافها بناء على معلومات استخباراتية ولا علاقة لأجهزة الكشف عن المتفجرات باكتشاف هذه الأجهزة. وفيما يخص الداعية الأميركي من أصل يمني، قال الرضي إنه مطلوب لأجهزة الأمن اليمنية وقد صدر الأمر بالقبض عليه، وإن محاكمته قد بدأت غيابيا في صنعاء، وإن القبائل اليمنية تساعد الحكومة في تعقب عناصر تنظيم القاعدة. وذكر الرضي أن التنسيق الأمني اليمني - السعودي في أعلى المستويات، مؤكدا كذلك على أن التعاون اليمني - الأميركي فيما يخص الحرب على «القاعدة» هو تعاون قائم على التنسيق الأمني والاستخباراتي وتدريب قوات مكافحة الإرهاب اليمنية، وأنه لا صحة لوجود طائرات أميركية تجوب الأجواء اليمنية بحثا عن عناصر «القاعدة». وتعرض السفير الرضي إلى جملة من الإجراءات التي اتخذها اليمن عقب تزايد العمليات المرتبطة بـ«القاعدة» في اليمن.
* ما هي حكاية الطرود المشبوهة التي خرجت من اليمن، والتي أقلقت العالم في الأسابيع الماضية؟ ولمَ لم تتمكن أجهزة الأمن اليمنية من اكتشاف هذه الطرود قبل خروجها عبر مطاراته؟
- كل ما عندي عن هذا الموضوع أن هذه الطرود لم تكتشف في أي من المطارات التي ضبطت فيها بأجهزة كشف المتفجرات أو الأجهزة الأخرى الموجودة في تلك المطارات، وإنما جاء الكشف عنها بعد تلقي معلومات استخباراتية، تناقلتها مخابرات عربية ودولية تسببت في منع وقوع الكارثة، هذه المعلومات حددت نوع ورقم بوليصة الشحن، وعلى الرغم من العثور على الطردين فإن اكتشاف أنها تحوي مواد متفجرة كان عملية صعبة في مطاري دبي وإيست ميدلاندز ببريطانيا، وفي دبي لم يتمكنوا من اكتشاف تلك المواد عندما أدخلت في جهاز الفحص الاعتيادي وكذا عند إدخالها في جهاز فحص المتفجرات وحتى عند إحضار الكلاب البوليسية المدربة لم يتم اكتشافها ولم يتم الكشف عنها إلا بعد الفحص اليدوي وفك علبة الحبر. إذن خروج تلك الطرود من اليمن لم يكن بفعل تقصير أو إهمال الأجهزة اليمنية في المطار، وإنما يرجع ذلك إلى تطور العمل الإرهابي الذي لم يكشفه أي مطار، لذلك فإن العمل الاستخباراتي وسرعة تداول المعلومات هما الأساس في مكافحة مثل هذه الحالات. المعلومات الأمنية التي وصلت إلى دبي واليونان وبريطانيا كما ذكرت هي العامل الذي ساعد على ضبط هذه الطرود، ولو كانت المسألة مسألة أجهزة كشف المتفجرات فإن المطارات اليمنية مزودة بأحدث أجهزة كشف المتفجرات، غير أن الطرود المرسلة لم تكتشفها هذه الأجهزة لا في اليمن ولا في غيره من الدول. ومعلوم أن هذه المواد شديدة التفجير قد وضعت في سوائل تعوق عملية الكشف عنها بواسطة الأجهزة وهو ما سهل خروجها من بعض المطارات التي مرت عبرها دون أن تكتشفها أجهزة كشف المتفجرات.
* وما تفسيرك للضجة العالمية التي حدثت بعد ذلك؟
- أنا أعتقد أن اليمن تعرض لظلم كبير فيما يخص موضوع «القاعدة» بشكل عام. أكثر من دولة منعت استقبال الشحن الجوي من اليمن، الخطوط الجوية اليمنية عوقبت بالمنع من دخول المطارات البريطانية، الحكومة الألمانية منعت الطيران إليها من اليمن، شركة «لوفتهانزا» قررت تعليق رحلاتها إلى اليمن بشكل مفاجئ دون إعطاء إشعار مسبق حسب ما تقتضيه أنظمة وقوانين الطيران الدولي وبررت ذلك الإيقاف بأسباب أمنية، وهذه من وجهة نظرنا أساليب تساعد «القاعدة» التي تسعى إلى عزل اليمن دوليا ليتسنى لها تنفيذ مخططاتها التي ترمي إلى الانطلاق لزعزعة السلم والاستقرار في المنطقة والعالم. دعني أضرب لك مثلا واحدا، في حادثة الشاب النيجيري عمر الفاروق عبد المطلب الذي حاول تفجير طائرة أميركية فوق سماء ديترويت في يوم عيد الميلاد من العام الماضي، فعلى الرغم من عدم علاقة المطارات اليمنية أو الناقل الوطني بهذا الحادث لكون المذكور سافر عبر مطارات أخرى ولم يسافر عبر المطارات اليمنية إلا قبل شهور من الحادثة، وعلى الرغم من أن عمر الفاروق درس في أكثر من بلد وعبر أكثر من مطار دولي قبل الحادثة، على الرغم من كل ذلك، فإن محاولة التفجير التي قام بها ارتبطت بشكل مباشر باليمن على الرغم من أن هذا الرجل لم يمكث في اليمن إلا أشهرا معدودة.
* المعلومات التي تحدثت عنها أرسلت من المملكة العربية السعودية حسبما ذكر، ما مدى التنسيق بين اليمن والمملكة على الصعيد الأمني؟
- التنسيق بين البلدين قائم على أعلى المستويات، وقد أثمر التنسيق الأمني بينهما نتائج طيبة في مجال الحرب على تنظيم القاعدة وغير ذلك من مجالات التنسيق فيما يخص التهريب وغيره. أما فيما يخص ما ذكرت من أن الإخوة في المملكة قد أبلغوا الجهات الدولية والعربية الأخرى، فأعتقد أن الإخوة السعوديين حصلوا على معلوماتهم بعد أن خرجت الطرود من اليمن، ومع ذلك فإنني أعتقد أن إحباط المحاولة وحماية الأرواح هو الهدف وما دام أن الهدف أنجز فهذا ما أراده اليمن والدول الأخرى. أما بالنسبة إلى الذين يعزفون على وتر عدم إبلاغ اليمن عن هذه الطرود فأعتقد أنهم يسعون للتشويش على العلاقات الممتازة بين اليمن والمملكة العربية السعودية، وهي علاقات تاريخية قائمة على التنسيق على كل المستويات الاقتصادية والأمنية والدبلوماسية.
* يلحظ اهتمام بريطاني متزايد باليمن على خلفية تزايد التوترات الأمنية في البلاد، ما مدلول ذلك من وجهة نظرك كسفير لليمن لدى بريطانيا؟
- البريطانيون كان لهم نصيب كبير من استهداف «القاعدة»، السفير البريطاني وغيره من طاقم السفارة تعرض إلى محاولة اغتيال، من قبل هذا التنظيم، أحد الطرود وجد على الأراضي البريطانية. بريطانيا ترى أنها مستهدفة بشكل واضح من قبل عناصر «القاعدة»، والتنظيم غالبا ما يربط بين أميركا وبريطانيا في كثير من تهديداته التي تظهر على شرائط مسجلة بين الحين والآخر. شيء طبيعي أن تقلق بريطانيا، وأن تكون في طليعة الجبهة المواجهة لهذا التنظيم. وبما أن اليمن قد ابتلي في الفترة الأخيرة بوجود عدد من عناصر هذا التنظيم على أراضيه، فإن البريطانيين يسعون لتوسيع التعاون الأمني بين البلدين اللذين يستهدفهما تنظيم القاعدة على حد سواء.
وفي الفترة الأخيرة نظم المعهد الملكي للأبحاث في لندن لقاءات نوقشت فيها الإشكالات التي تواجه اليمن وسبل معالجتها وقد حضر جانبا من هذه اللقاءات عن الجانب البريطاني وزير الدولة لشؤون التنمية الدولية ألن دانكن الذي عرض في كلمة له جملة من المخاوف التي تقلق الجانب البريطاني فيما يخص تنظيم القاعدة، كما عرض الدور الذي تلعبه بريطانيا لمساعدة اليمن اقتصاديا وأمنيا، كما أن بريطانيا أحد الأعضاء الفاعلين في مجموعة «أصدقاء اليمن»، وهي تقدم أشكالا مختلفة من الدعم لليمن، وسوف يكون لها دور في الاجتماع القادم الذي سيعقد في الرياض في شهر فبراير (شباط) من العام القادم والذي سوف يلتقي فيه مندوبو أكثر من عشرين دولة ضمن إطار «أصدقاء فلسطين» لبحث كيفية صرف المساعدات المقررة لليمن وبحث إنشاء صندوق لدعم التنمية في البلاد على اعتبار أن التنمية الاقتصادية هي المفتاح لحل كثير من الإشكالات التي تواجه البلاد وعلى رأسها مشكلة «القاعدة». وعلاوة على ذلك، فإن العلاقات اليمنية - البريطانية قديمة والتداخل الثقافي والاجتماعي بين البلدين موجود بشكل ملحوظ.
* ماذا عن أنور العولقي الذي ظهر مؤخرا يدعو إلى قتال الأميركيين دون استفتاء أحد؟ كيف ستتعامل الحكومة معه في ظل المطالب الأميركية باعتقاله وتسليمه للأميركيين أو اغتياله؟
- أنور العولقي أصبح مطلوبا للسلطات اليمنية وقد صدر أمر إلقاء القبض عليه وبدأت محاكمته غيابيا في صنعاء. والعولقي كما هو معروف مولود في أميركا ونشأ وتربى هناك واكتسب أفكاره من هناك وهو يحمل الجنسية الأميركية ومن هنا جاءت المطالب الأميركية بتسليمه. وهناك اليوم موقف واضح من قبل أبناء قبيلته (العوالق) منه، حيث أعلنوا براءتهم من كل أشكال الإرهاب وممن يقف معه حتى ولو كان من العوالق أنفسهم. وأعتقد أن هذا الموقف سيضعف من اعتماد «القاعدة» بشكل كبير على حماية القبائل لهم.
* أشارت تقارير أخيرة إلى أن الولايات المتحدة نشرت طائرات من دون طيار في الأجواء اليمنية لتعقب مقاتلي «القاعدة» على الأراضي اليمنية، ما هو موقف الحكومة اليمنية من هذه الخطوة؟
- موقف اليمن أكده الرئيس علي عبد الله صالح في مؤتمره الصحافي الأخير بعد حادثة الطردين اللذين اكتشفا في الإمارات وبريطانيا، وهذا الموقف قائم على رفض التدخل في شؤوننا الداخلية. ولا وجود لطائرات أميركية بطيار أو من دون طيار في الأجواء اليمنية. ومع ذلك، فإن التنسيق اليمني - الأميركي قائم، والدعم الأميركي لليمن قائم على الدعم الاستخباراتي وتدريب قوى الأمن اليمنية، كما أن الأميركيين يقدمون أنواعا أخرى من الدعم الاقتصادي والثقافي لليمن.
* بعد كل ما لحق باليمن من ضرر جراء أعمال «القاعدة»، ما هي الخطوات التي ستتخذها الحكومة للحد من الأضرار التي لحقت بسمعة اليمن دوليا وإقليميا؟
- الحملات الأمنية على عناصر هذا التنظيم في بعض المناطق في البلاد لم تتوقف، التعاون مع القبائل والتحذير من إيواء هذه العناصر يتزامن مع الحملات الأمنية، توجيه خطباء المساجد إلى اعتماد الوسطية والدعوة إلى نبذ العنف والإرهاب. وعلى مستوى الإجراءات الأخرى فقد تم اعتماد تفتيش الشحنات البريدية بواقع 100 في المائة يدويا وباستخدام جهاز الكشف عن المتفجرات بعد مرورها من جهاز الأشعة السينية، كما تم وضع اشتراطات جديدة على وكلاء الشحن الجوي واستمرار الرقابة المحلية والدولية عليهم وسحب تراخيص من لا تنطبق عليه المعايير وكذا تشديد الإجراءات الأمنية في المطارات على الأشخاص والأمتعة، كما يتم الإعداد حاليا لتشكيل وحدة حديثة لأمن الموانئ الجوية تتبع الأمن المركزي، ومهمتها حماية المطارات من أي أعمال تخريبية أو إرهابية. ونحن بصدد عمل إعلامي مكثف لإيضاح الوجه الحقيقي لليمن والشعب اليمني وطبيعة اليمنيين السمحة المحبة للأمن والتعايش مع الآخرين.

العثور على جثة رئيس جمعية الإصلاح بعدن مقتولاً وعليه أثار تعذيب
عثر مواطنون بمدينة عدن، عصر اليوم الثلاثاء، على جثة رئيس جمعية الاصلاح الخيرية بمنطقة ساحل أبين بمديرية خور مكسر، بعد ساعات من اختطافه من قبل قوات تابعة لأمن عدن.
ونقل موقع " الصحوة نت " إن مواطنين عثروا على جثة رئيس جمعية الاصلاح الخيرية، محمد عبدالله الشجينة مقتولا داخل سيارة نوع "هايولكس " امام مجمع العرب في مديرية خورمكسر.
وبحسب المصادر فقد تم العثور على جثة الشجنية مقتولا، ومعصوب العينين وعليه أثار تعذيب في أجزاء من جسده.
وكان وزير الدولة المقال عضو ما يسمى بالمجلس الانتقالي قد كتب ليلة أمس رسالة تهديد على صفحته الرسمية توتير بأن الصبر لن يطول وحينها لن نتوقف عند الاسوار حسب كلامه.
وكان مسلحون يتبعون أمن عدن، قد اختطفوا صباح اليوم، رئيس جمعية الاصلاح، واقتادوه الى جهة مجهولة

The leadership of the South Socialists condemned the invasion of the homes of both Dr. Yassin Said Noman, Ambassador of Yemen to the United Kingdom, former Socialist Secretary General and Dr. Yahya al-Shuaibi, Ambassador of Yemen to Germany.
The body said in a statement issued this evening that the blatant infringement on the sanctity and property of citizens is not new to the militias policies; it is a mere embodiment of its approach, and fully consistent with their aggressive and bloody-like-practices.
The statement reads as follows:

With each passing day, the Houthi militias increasingly soak in the blood of "innocent people" and a mud-like-ocean of abuses and human rights violations. The last of these crimes being the invasion of the homes of both, Yemen's Ambassador to Britain, Dr. Yassin Said Noman, the secretary general of our former party, and Yemen's Ambassador to Germany, Dr. Yahya al-Shuaibi, the latter coincided with the fourth anniversary of the ominous coup.
In fact, the blatant infringement on the sanctity and property of citizens is not strange to the militias policies; it is a mere embodiment of its approach, and fully consistent with their aggressive and bloody like practices.
The Southern Socialist Leadership Board condemns in the strongest terms the invasion of the properties of Dr. Yassin and his colleague Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, declaring its solidarity with the national figures Yassin and Shuaibi, for they have been symbols of civility and peace. The board denounces this shameful and barbaric act that expresses the hidden hatred of the backsliding and uncivil Houthi militias vis-a-vis the symbols of thought, residential and the vision Yemen was long known for. This only reveals the militias state of bankruptcy and obsession with money and property. This is not new to the murderous and destructive militias that have usurped power in Sana'a, and launched its dirty war against the people in the north and south and on the nation, sowing mines and explosives all-over the land.
Because of them, innocent citizens are now accustomed to artillery munitions and tank projectiles. They have taken for granted the country and its capabilities, committing the most heinous and outrageous crimes and massacres against the people of Yemen, north and south.
Al-Houthi militias lost their senses after receiving painful attacks by the giant brigades of the resistance and other resistance factions in the city of Hodeidah that they have become insane, so much that they do not know what to do next. This indeed is an indication that the militias collapse is coming to a close and will soon not be able to withstand and confront in the battlefields, because it feels that the breakdown of its dark project is near. The Southern Resistance has launched a counter-project that aims at defeating the Houthis and reclaiming the land the militias had taken over. The project started from the south and extended to al-Mokha, the west coast, and Sa'ada.
The leadership of the Socialist Party in the South calls all the political forces, civil society organizations and public figures to condemn such acts in the strongest terms, while emphasizing the importance of firmness against this group, which is hostile to man and nation.

Yemeni Ambassador to London: Yemen has endured great injustice.. And «Al-Qaeda» seeks its isolation to carry out its plans.
Yemen's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Abdullah al-Radhi, said that his country has been subjected to great injustice due to the recent media campaign. The unjust campaign comes after the sending of two suspicious packages from Yemen, which were discovered at both Dubai airport in the United Arab Emirates and the airport of East Midlands in Britain. He said that a number of countries have taken unfair measures related to shipping operations, travel to and from Yemen, and measures against Yemen Airways, which were described as unfair.
In an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, al-Radhi said in his office at the Embassy of Sana'a in London, that the parcels sent were found based on classified information that have nothing to do with explosives detection devices. As for the US clerk of Yemeni origin, Mr. al-Radhi said he is wanted by the Yemeni security services. The warrant for his arrest was issued. His trial began in absentia in Sana'a. Yemeni tribes help the government track al-Qaeda operatives. The Yemeni-Saudi security coordination is at its highest level, he said. Stressing that Yemen-US cooperation in the war on al-Qaeda is based on security and intelligence coordination and the training of Yemeni counter-terrorism forces. There is no truth to the presence of US aircraft scouring the Yemeni airspace in search of elements of al-Qaeda. Ambassador Al-Radhi presented a number of measures taken by Yemen following the increase in operations associated with «Al-Qaeda» In Yemen.
*What is the story behind the suspicious packages that came out of Yemen, raising concerns throughout the world in the past weeks? Why did the Yemeni security services not detect these parcels before they could cross its airports?
-All I have to say about this is that these packages were not discovered in any of the airports where the explosives detection devices or other devices in these airports were located, but they were discovered upon receiving intelligence information, transmitted by Arab and international intelligence agencies that helped prevent the disaster. This information specified the type and number of the bill of lading. Although the two parcels were found, the conclusion that they contained explosive materials was a difficult process at Dubai and East Midlands airports in Britain.
In Dubai, they were unable to detect these materials when they were inserted into the regular inspection device, neither were they detectable when they were inserted into the explosives inspection device. Not even trained sniffer dogs could help detect these materials until they were manually examined by means of dismantling the ink box. Therefore, the transportation of these packages from Yemen was not due to the failure to do what ought to be done or negligence of the Yemeni authorities at the airport, but due to the development of the terrorist act, which was not revealed by any airport. Hence, intelligence work and the speed of information circulation are key to combating such cases. The security information that arrived in Dubai, Greece and Britain, as mentioned, is the factor that helped to detect these packages. Had the issue been a matter of explosives detection devices, the Yemeni airports are equipped with the latest detection devices, but the packages sent to these devices were not discovered in Yemen or in any other Countries. It is known that these highly explosive materials have been placed in liquids that impede the detection process by means of devices, which facilitated their exit from some of the airports they passed through without being detected by explosives detection devices.
* What is your explanation of the global uproar that followed?
-Generally speaking, I think that Yemen has been subjected to unjust treatment with regard to al-Qaeda. More than one country prevented receiving air cargo from Yemen. Yemen Airways was banned from entering British airports, the German government prevented flights from Yemen, Lufthansa decided to suspend flights to Yemen suddenly without giving prior notice as required by the rules and laws of international aviation. The company attributed the suspension to security reasons, which, in our view, only consolidates al-Qaeda efforts that seek to isolate Yemen internationally so that it can implement its plans aimed at thwarting peace and stability in the region and the world.
Let me give you an example, the young Nigerian Omar al-Faruq Abdulmutallab, who tried to blow up a US plane over the skies of Detroit on Christmas Day last year. Although the Yemeni airports or the national carrier had no link with the incident, as the mentioned person had traveled over different airports and did not travel through Yemeni airports until months before the incident. In addition, although Omar al-Faruq studied in more than one country and crossed more than one international airport before the incident, despite all this, his bombing attempt was directly linked to Yemen, even if this man only stayed in Yemen for few months.
* The information you mentioned was communicated from Saudi Arabia, how do you view coordination between Yemen and the Kingdom in terms of the security level?
- The coordination between the two states is at the highest level, and the security coordination between them has produced good results in the war on al-Qaeda and other areas of coordination with regard to smuggling and other matters. As for what you mentioned that the brothers in the kingdom have informed the international and other Arab authorities, I think that the Saudi brothers received the information after the parcels came out of Yemen.
However, I believe that thwarting terrorist attempts and protecting lives is the goal. This is what Yemen and other countries want.
As for those who claim that Saudi Arabia was reluctant to inform Yemen of these packages, I think they seek to disrupt the historic and excellent relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, based on coordination at all scales, economic, security and diplomatic.
*There is growing British interest in Yemen following the increased security tensions in the country. What does this mean for you as Yemen's Ambassador to Britain?
-The British had a large share of Al Qaeda's targeting, the British ambassador and other embassy staff were subjected to an assassination attempt, by this organization, one parcel found on British territory. Britain sees itself as clearly targeted by al-Qaeda elements, not to mention that the organization often links America and Britain in many of its threats published on recorded tapes from time to time. It is normal for Britain to worry and to be at the forefront in the war against this organization. Since Yemen has been plagued by the presence of a number of elements of the organization on its territory, Britain is seeking to expand security cooperation between the two countries targeted by Al Qaeda,
Recently, the Royal Institute for Research in London organized meetings in which the problems facing Yemen and ways of dealing with them were discussed. Some of these meetings were attended by British Secretary of State for International Development Alan Duncan, who expressed a number of concerns about Al-Qaeda, and the role played by Britain to help Yemen regain its economic and security stability. Britain is indeed an active member of the group «Friends of Yemen», providing various forms of support to Yemen. Britain will have a major role to play in the next meeting expected to take place in Riyadh in February next year, in which delegates from more than 20 countries will convene in the framework of "Friends of Palestine" to discuss ways to disburse aid funds to Yemen as well as the establishment of a fund to support development in the country, considering that economic development is key to the resolution of many of the problems facing the country. Moreover, the Yemeni-British relations are ancient; the cultural and social interaction between the two countries is remarkably high.
* What about Anwar al-Awlaki? Who recently appeared to call for fighting Americans without a referendum? How will the government deal with him under American demands calling for his arrest and turn over to the Americans, or the demands calling for his assassination?
- Anwar al-Awlaki is wanted by the Yemeni authorities and his arrest warrant was issued, his trial began in absentia in Sana'a. al-Awlaki, as kown, was born and raised in America. He formed his ideas in the United States, not in Yemen. He holds a US citizenship, which is the reason why the United States wants Yemen to turn him over.
Today, there is a clear position by the people of his tribe (al-Awalik), where they declared their innocence of all forms of terrorism and those who advocate for it, even if the person is from the tribe. I think this position will weaken Al-Qaeda's dependence on the tribes protection.
*Recent reports suggest that the United States has deployed drones in Yemeni airspace to track down al Qaeda fighters on Yemeni territory, what is the position of the Yemeni government as far as this measure is concerned?
- Yemen's position was confirmed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh in his last press conference after the incident of the two parcels that were discovered in the UAE and Britain. This position is based on refusal to any interference in our internal affairs. There is no presence of American manned aircraft or drones in the Yemeni airspace. However, Yemeni-American coordination is in place, and US support for Yemen is based on intelligence support and training of Yemeni security forces. It is worth mentioning that the US provides other kinds of economic and cultural support to Yemen.
*After all the damage done to Yemen by the work of Al Qaeda, What steps will the government take to reduce damage to Yemen's reputation internationally and regionally?
- Security campaigns on elements of this organization in some areas of the country did not stop. Cooperation with the tribes and the warning of harboring these elements coincides with security campaigns in place, directing the mosque preachers to adopt moderation and call for the renunciation of violence and terrorism.
Also, other measures have been put in place, namely the inspection of mail shipments was approved by 100 per cent manually and through the use of explosive detection devices after passing through the X-ray machine. New requirements were also placed on air cargo agents, domestic and international controls are still ongoing, withdrawing licenses from those who do not meet the criteria.

The body of the head of Al-Islah Association for charity in the Abyan Coast area of Khor Maksar Directorate was found Tuesday afternoon in Aden.
The website "Sahwa Net" reported that citizens found the body of the President of the Islah Association for charity, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Shajina, dead inside a "Hilux" car in front of the Arabs Complex in the Directorate of Khor Maksar.
According to the sources, the body of al-Shajina was found dead, blindfolded and tortured in parts of his body.
