Меня зовут Трубецкая Ирина Анатольевна. Мне 35 лет. Я родилась 17 апреля 1980 года в городе Ильичевск Одесской области в Украине. В 1978 году мои родители переехали в Ильичевск из Петровска Саратовской области. Они всегда мечтали жить в небольшом городке на берегу моря, поэтому, когда моему отцу предложили работу в Ильичевске, он долго не думал. У меня есть 2 брата, старший и младший. Разница между нами составляет два года. Мой старший брат, Игорь, работает в России, в городе Сургут, на нефтеперерабатывающем предприятии. У него очень хорошая и добрая жена Алиса, и двое чудесных деток, Олежек и Олечка. Мой младший брат, Алексей, живет в Ильичевске. У него есть свой мини-отель и экскурсионное бюро, которые обслуживают туристов, как из Украины, так и из России, а также из других соседних стран. Алексей еще не женат. Он говорит, что у него нет времени на личную жизнь. Однако, на мой взгляд, личная и профессиональная жизнь должны дополнять друг друга.

Сейчас я живу и работаю в Киеве, столице Украины. Я руковожу небольшой туристической компанией и по совместительству преподаю на факультете ресторанно-гостиничного и туристического бизнеса Киевского национального торгово-экономического университета. Я очень люблю свою работу, вернее, обе свои работы. Это просто великолепно, когда теоретические вопросы можно рассмотреть на примерах из практики. Мне нравится путешествовать и знакомиться с новыми людьми. А работа в туризме открывает для меня прекрасные возможности для поездок и общения. Также мне нравится работать с молодыми людьми, делиться с ними собственным опытом и видеть результаты своей работы. Мои студенты проходят практику у меня на предприятии и некоторые из них остаются работать у нас после окончания университета. Я стараюсь все время повышать свой профессиональный и образовательный уровень, поэтому мне приходится постоянно обучаться и всегда быть в курсе последних событий. Кирюша любит спорт, он ходит на плавание и лёгкую атлетику. Также он любит кататься на велосипеде, скейтборде и роликах. Несколько раз в год Кирилл принимает участие в спортивных соревнованиях, где часто занимает призовые места. Он мечтает стать программистом, когда вырастет.

Нашу дочь зовут Марина. Ей 7 лет. Она учится в 1 классе. Сейчас она изучает только английский язык, но в следующем году она также будет изучать еще один иностранный язык, немецкий или французский на выбор. Я думаю, что мы выберем французский язык, поскольку Марише очень нравятся французские песни и она мечтает поехать во Францию. Несмотря на свой юный возраст, Марина тоже занимается спортом. Мы стараемся разговаривать дома на английском, а также я поощряю их попытки общения на английском за рубежом. К сожалению, мои знания немецкого и французского недостаточны для свободного ежедневного общения, поэтому я планирую уделить больше внимания изучению этих языков. Пока что моего уровня хватает только, чтобы помогать детям выполнять домашнее задание и исправлять ошибки.

Свободное от работы время мы стараемся проводить вместе. На выходных мы не сидим дома, а посещаем музеи, театры, кинотеатры, часто ездим за город или путешествуем по Украине. Мой муж занимается велосипедным спортом и часто берет нашего сына в поездки. Я, как и наша дочь, занимаюсь единоборствами, поэтому мы иногда тренируемся вместе. Мы ездим на морские курорты дважды в год и уже посетили 10 стран: Болгарию, Турцию, Грецию, Черногорию, Хорватию, Испанию, Египет, Индию, Шри-Ланку и Таиланд. Мои дети очень легко чувствуют себя в дороге, они очень любят ездить на всех видах транспорта, но больше всего им нравится путешествовать поездом и самолетом.

Летние каникулы дети обычно проводят у моих родителей в Ильичевске. Там у них много друзей и знакомых. Конечно, бабушка с дедушкой очень любят своих внуков и всячески их балуют. Домой они приезжают здоровые, подтянутые и очень-очень вредные. Также время от времени мы ездим в горы. В этом году мы в очередной раз поднялись на самую высокую вершину Украины Говерлу. Ее высота составляет 2061 метр над уровнем моря. В ближайшем будущем мы планируем покорить также и самые высокие вершины Румынии, Болгарии, Польши и других соседних стран.

My name is Irina Anatolievna Trubetskaya. I am 35 years old. I was born on the 17th of April, 1980 in Ilyichevsk, a town in the Odessa district of Ukraine. In 1978, my parents moved from Petrovsk in the Saratov district to Ilyichevsk. They always dreamt of living in a small seaside town, so when my father was offered a job in Ilyichevsk, he did not hesitate. I have two brothers, an elder one and a younger one. The age difference between each of us is two years. My elder brother, Igor, works in Russia, in the town of Surgut, at an oil-processing enterprise. He has a very good and kind wife Alisa and two wonderful kids, Olezhek and Olechka. My younger brother, Aleksey, lives in Ilyichevsk. He owns a mini-hotel and an excursion bureau offering services to tourists from both Ukraine and Russia, as well as from other neighboring countries. Aleksey is not married yet. He keeps saying that he has no time for a private life. But I think that one's private and professional lives should complement each other.

At present I live and work in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. I run a small travel company and work part-time at the Faculty of Restaurant, Hospitality and Tourism Business of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. I love my job or, rather, both of my jobs. It is simply marvelous when theoretical questions can be dealt with by means of examples from one's own experience. I enjoy travelling and getting to know new people. And my work in tourism provides an excellent opportunity for travels and communication. Also I like working with young people, sharing my own experience and witnessing the results of my work. My students undergo their educational training at my enterprise and some of them become our employees after graduation. I do my best to constantly increase my professional and educational levels, therefore, I have to study continuously and keep track of the latest events. It is not easy, but owing to my work on self-growth I can rejoice over my professional success.

Since I have to go on business trips frequently, I especially value every possibility of spending time with my family. My husband's name is Andrey. He is 38 years old, he is 3 years older than I am. Andrey works as the head of a big trading company. He is always extremely busy and spends a lot of time at work. He is a very frank and jolly person and he is valued by both his colleagues and numerous friends and acquaintances.

Andrey and I have two kids, a boy and a girl. Our son's name is Kirill, he is 10 years old. He is in his 4th year at school. Kirill studies English and German. He is not the top student of his class but he is a very gifted and clever boy. He is a very calm and even-tempered kid. He enjoys reading and listening to music. Kiriusha likes sports, he does swimming and athletics. Also he enjoys cycling, skate boarding and roller skating. Kirill takes part in sporting competitions several times a year and he often takes first places. He dreams of becoming a programmer when he grows up.

Our daughter's name is Marina. She is 7. She is in her first year at school. At present she studies only the English language but next year she will be studying another foreign language, either German or French. I think we'll choose French because Marisha is fond of French songs and she dreams of going to France. In spite of her young age Marina does sports too. She studies ballet and does karate. Her teachers say that she is a very talented girl and she has a great future in sports. Marina enjoys reading too but she often asks her elder brother to read to her before going to sleep. Marisha has not made up her mind about what she wants to do in the future yet but it is not that important in her age. Still, it is only lately that she has been saying she dreams of becoming a ballet dancer and performing on the big stage.

Despite being busy at work I Endeavour to arrange my time in such a way that I could be actively involved in my kids' studies. Besides my native Russian and Ukrainian, I am fluent in English and know a little German and French. So I can help my children with learning languages. We try to speak English at home and I encourage their attempts to communicate in English abroad. Unfortunately, my knowledge of German and French is not sufficient to speak fluently, so I plan to spend more time trying to master these languages. At present my level is only enough to help the children with their homework and correct mistakes.

We do our best to spend time together when we are free from work. We do not stay at home at weekends. We visit museums, theatres, cinemas, go out of town frequently or travel around Ukraine. My husband goes cycling and he often takes Kirill for a ride on his bike. Like my daughter, I do martial arts, so we sometimes practice together. We go to seaside resorts twice a year. We have already been to 10 countries: Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Spain, Egypt, India, Sri-Lanka and Thailand. My children are at ease when travelling and they enjoy riding on all means of transport but their favourites are trains and planes.

The kids usually spend their summer holidays at my parents' in Ilyichevsk. They have many friends and acquaintances there. Of course, Grandma and Grandpa love their grandkids and pamper them in every possible way. They return home healthy, fit and very-very naughty. Now and then we also go mountain hiking. This year we did our regular climb up the highest peak of Ukraine, mountain Goverla. Its height is 2061 meters above sea level. In the nearest future we are planning of conquering the highest peaks of Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and some other neighboring countries.

Most of us have heard of “The Learning Curve”, but typically only look at half of the equation, up through the point of mastery. In truth, the learning curve has two components: awareness and competence, yielding 4 distinct stages, and two different outcomes.
1. Unconscious Incompetence
This is the point when you don’t know how to do something, and you are unaware of how bad you are, or unaware of even the need to be able to do something in the first place. This stage is characterized by ignorance of the consequences of one’s lack of knowledge, such as a technical manager who does not see the need or value in maintaining positive social contacts with staff to become more effective.
2. Conscious Incompetence
At some point, we become aware of our deficiencies. That does not make them go away, but the awareness is the first step towards learning the skills or gaining the experience to improve. At this stage, we know we are no good at something, but are making progress towards mastery.
3. Conscious Competence
At this point, we have acquired the skills necessary for success, but it still takes a good bit of concentration to perform adequately. For example, a teen-ager who has just passed the driving test may “technically” have the needed skills to drive, but only if considerable focus is given to the task, and the risk of failure still looms great on the horizon. This stage is often known as “the hell zone”

4. Unconscious Competence (A)
By this point, skill level has proceeded to mastery, and we no longer give much thought to what or how we do things anymore. For example, when was the last time you thought about all that was involved in walking, despite the number of muscles you actually have to coordinate. One look at an infant’s first-steps shows that we did indeed go through the other stages first. (So does a drunken stupor, for that matter)
Competence With Continued Consciousness (B)
It is not necessary that after we achieve mastery, we cease to be aware of what we are doing. For example, some people such as great artists or performers might not be able to articulate how the perform their art, despite attempts to do so. By the same token, there are “teachers” who have not only mastered a skill, but are also able to guide others through their own mastery. These people continue with mastery through exit point B.

لقد سمع أغلبنا عن "منحنى التعلم"، ولكننا عادة ما ننظر إلى نصف المعادلة فقط، حتى نقطة ذروة التَمَكن . وفي الحقيقة إن منحنى التعلم يمتلك مقومان: أحدهما الوعى والأخر الكفاءة، والتى يسفر عنها 4 مراحل متباينة واثنين من النتائج المختلفة.

وتكون هذه النقطة عندما لا تعرف كيف تقوم بشىء، وتكون غير مُدرك إلى أى مدى أنت سىء، أو غير مُدرك لحاجتك في القدرة على القيام بشىء في المقام الأول. حيث تتصف هذه المرحلة بالحهل بعواقب نقص المعرفة، مثال ذلك المدير الفني الذى لا يرى الحاجة او القيمة إلى الحفاظ على التواصل الاجتماعي الإيجابي مع الموظفين ليصبح أكثر فاعلية.
2- عدم الكفاءة المدركة
نصبح مدركين في نقطة ما إلى عيوبنا. و هذا لا يجعلنا نتخلص منها، لكن الوعى هو الخطوة الأولى في اتجاه تعلم المهارات واكتساب الخبرة للتحسن، في هذه المرحلة نعرف أننا لا نجيد شىء ما، ولكن نتطور لأتقانه.
3- الكفاءة المدركة
في هذه المرحلة نكون قد اكتسبنا المهارات اللازمة للنجاح، ولكن يكون لا تزال تتطلب قدر كبير من التركيز للأداء بشكل ملائم. على سبيل المثال المراهق الذى قد إجتاز اختبار القيادة ، قد يمتلك "تقنياً" مهارات القيادة، ولكن فقط أذا أعطى المهمة تركيزاً بالغاً، ومع ذلك سيظل خطر الفشل يلوح بشكل كبير في الأفق. وغالباً ما تعرف هذه المرحلة باسم "منطقة الجحيم".
4- الكفاءة غير المدركة (أ)
عند هذه المرحلة يكون قد تطور مستوى المهارة إلى التَمَكن، ولا نَعُد نولى بعد الأن الكثير من التفكير لما أو كيف نقوم بشىء. على سبيل المثال متى كانت آخر مرة فكرت في كل ما هو مشارك في عملية المشى، بالرغم من عدد العضلات التى يجب عليك التنسيق بينها. تُظهِر نظرة واحدة إلى خطوات الرضيع الأولى أننا قد مررنا بالخطوات الأخرى أولاً. (مثل حالة اللاوعي التي يكون عليها السكران)
- الكفاءة مع الأدراك المستمر (ب)
ليس من الضروري بعد بلوغنا التَمَكن، أن نكف عن أدارك ما نقوم به. وعلى سبيل المثال قد لا يتمكن بعض الناس مثل الفنانين الكبار أو الممثلين من توضيح كيفية أداء فنهم، على الرغم من محاولات القيام بذلك. وعلى نفس المنوال هناك "معلمون" لم يتمكنوا من المهارة وحسب، بل قادرين على توجيهه الآخرين لإتقان مايفعلوه. يواصل هؤلاء الإتقان والتمكن إلى حين الخروج من المرحلة (ب).

Born in Saudi-Arabia to a bi-lingual family, I grew up speaking English and Arabic natively. I entered to the University to study the Russian and Italian language. Finally I learned the Ukrainian language from some native speakers.
