NSZK szabadalmi leírás és a 201 216 sz. holland szabadalmi leírás nem vezető szilárdanyagot tartalmazó szuszpenziók szilárdanyag koncentrációjának mérését ismerteti. Lényegében hasonló - de utalásjellegű - említést találunk Lőrincz I.: Vegyi és rokonipari mérőműszerek (3. kiadás, Műszaki Könyvkiadó, Bp. 1967.) c. könyvében is. Az idézett szabadalom standard folyadékkal töltött referens cellát és egy külön mérőcellát jelöl meg, amelyek hídkapcsolásban, feszültségosztóról működnek és ennek következtében a szilárdanyag koncentrációval lineárisan arányos jelet adnak. Ezen mérőrendszer hátránya, hogy műanyag csőben, fém elektródokkal végzi a konduktometriás mérést. Lerakódásra, palásodásra hajlamos zagyok (p1. vörösiszap zagyok) esetén az elektródok felülete szigetelőréteggel vonódhat be, ha az áramlás nem elég gyors, ennek következtében a mérési eredmény hibás lesz. Ha a zagy erősen koptató hatású (p1. a timföldhidrát-zagy), az elektródok kopása a felület megváltozásához, esetleg az egész elektród elkopásához vezet, így a mért érték fokozatosan (esetleg alig észrevehető lépcsőkben) el fog térni a kezdetben beállított értéktől, és a mérés ismét hibássá válik.
Translation - English West-German No. 1 263 354 and Dutch No. 201 216 patent descriptions describe the measurement of solid matter concentrations of suspensions containing non-conducting solid matter. We can find an essentially similar description albeit only as a reference in the book of I. Lőrincz: Vegyi és rokonipari mérőműszerek (Measuring instruments for the chemical industry and related industries) (3rd issue, Műszaki Könyvkiadó, Bp. 1967). The above quoted patent defines a standard (reference) cell filled with standard liquid and a separate measuring cell, which are operated in a bridge circuit connection from a voltage divider and, due to that, generate signals that are proportionate with the solid matter concentration. The disadvantage of this measuring system is that the conductometric measurements take place in a plastic pipe using metal electrodes. With slurries tending to precipitate and foliate (such as red mud slurries) the electrode surfaces may become coated with an insulating layer if the flow is not sufficiently fast and this causes a faulty measuring result. If the slurry has a strong wearing effect (such as alumina hydrate slurry) wear of the electrodes may lead to the change of the surface or even to the wear of the whole electrode. Hence the measured value will gradually (perhaps in hardly noticeable steps) deviate from the initially adjusted value and the measurement, again, gives a faulty result.

Source text - English 6. Slide the air filter over the retainer and screw. Place inside the regulator housing and screw in the assembly. Do not overtighten.
7. Place the plastic bowl inside the bowl retainer. Carefully set the O-ring on top of the plastic bowl. Insert the entire unit over the air filter and gently turn to the right until screwed in hand tight.
8. Unlock the air supply valve and open to check the regulator assembly for leaks. Set air pressure to 40 psi (2.8 bar).
9. Replace the cover, four washers, and screws.
Translation - Hungarian 6. Csúsztassa a légszűrőt a rögzítő elem fölé, és csavarozza le. Helyezze be a szabályzó házába, és csavarja be az egységet. Ne húzza túl szorosra.
7. Helyezze a műanyag kupakot a kupakrögzítő elembe. Óvatosan tegye rá a gumigyűrűs tömítést a műanyag kupak tetejére. Illessze a teljes egységet a légszűrő fölé, és enyhén forgassa jobbra, amennyire kézzel meghúzható.
8. Reteszelje ki a levegő tápszelepet, és nyissa ki, hogy ellenőrizhesse nincs-e szivárgás a szabályzó egységben. Állítsa be a levegő nyomását 40 PSI (2.8 bar) értékre.
