My first name is Yasser. I prefer to go by Shazaly. I am a trilingual and bi-cultural Translator, born and raised in Sudan. I am also a permanent resident of Canada since 2006.
In 2009, I came back from Beirut-Lebanon, where I used to work for the United Nations International Independent Investigation Commission UNIIIC (The investigative committee in the case of the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri), and I have settled in Montréal, QC ever since…
I thought of introducing myself to you, just in case, you might have an opening for a truly skilled Translator in your thinking and planning. PLS TAKE A LOOK AT ATTACHED RESUME.
Currently, I am employed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montréal. It will be 3 years this October, since I joined the external translation pool of ICAO as a Self-revising Translator.
Also, I have recently successfully completed the requirements for the “Certificate of Proficiency in French-Language and Culture” with McGill University, Montreal in August of 2012. I felt that I need to master my French, since I live in Montreal, Quebec.

I’m a well-read person. I literally read more than 200 novels. This helped with mastering languages and acquainted me with human psyche. It generally elevated me as a human being as well.
