Translation - English As a consequence the ATC interlocking for xxx has been designed to realize the above mentioned functionality, by blocking the entry of a train into the interlocking area in driverless mode, unless it is possible for the train to exit the area without any obstruction. The Block and Control Line Design Criteria document clarifies that the limit of authority for the train (control lines) is not allowed to advance in the interlocking until the itinerary and exit track circuit are completely free. Unless there is a problem the train will never stop within the interlocking. This means there is no real operational requirement to invert the direction of travel of a train within the interlocking.
