Io benedico la vita per tutto quanto essa mi apporta, di bene e di male: ultimo dono la morte. Ma un dono solamente, ***e sia pur l'ultimo*** perché troppo ho da goderne prima di essa. Nella felicità gusterò in anticipo le gocce che cadono nel cuore del nettare divino che ci è riservato...

-> pour un peu, j'oserais dire "et je tiens à ce qu'il soit le dernier", ou quelque chose d'approchant, pour bien rendre l'idée que l'auteur tient à profiter de la vie avant de mourir!

Une autre idée, ou du moins une idée plus "châtiée"?

C'est un des cas ou "pure" n'ajoute rien en français. S'il avait dit "qu'il vienne le plus tard possible" ce serait différent peut-être mais "le dernier" c'est un truisme.

C'est un des cas ou "pure" n'ajoute rien en français. S'il avait dit "qu'il vienne le plus tard possible" ce serait différent peut-être mais "le dernier" c'est un truisme.
