Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / trasportatori a coclea
Italian term or phrase: albero
Le motorizzazioni sono realizzate mediante motoriduttore accoppiato direttamente all'albero della coclea.

Not an expert on this machinery. Is the "albero" here a "drive" or a "shaft" or both, and do we say the motor is "mounted on" or "mounted onto" or "assembled" with what preposition? Any help in making this sentence clear would be appreciated. Thanks.
