Gruppenzuordnung / Feldzuordnung Explanation: hallo, nach dem satzteil "were randomly placed into one of two experimental cells that determined which of the two questions were shown" gehe ich davon aus, dass die teilnehmer der umfrage nach dem zufallsprinzip in eine von zwei gruppen unterteilt wurden, und jeder gruppe dann wiederum eine von zwei fragen gestellt wurde. scheinbar handelt es sich um eine umfrage im internet (?), die nicht repräsentativ für die amerikanische bevölkerung insgesamt ist. interessant wäre natürlich, wie das genau funktioniert (d.h. wie die webseite aussieht), dann könnte man cell evtl. auch anders übersetzen... aber so, wie die sache steht, würde ich es mit "Gruppenzuordnung" (möglicherweise auch "Feldzuordnung") versuchen. Hoffe, das hilft etwas weiter Gruß Angela -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 Tag1 Stunde (2006-08-20 19:01:30 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- habe nochmal ein bißchen gesucht und bin auf folgendes gestoßen (http://tobaccodocuments.org/pm/2063633293-3303.html): ***Cells*** were defined by all combinations of the subject's smoking status (current smoker, former smoker, never smoker) and her husband's current smoking status (smoker, nonsmoker). Criteria used to assign smoking status were as follows. A current smoker was one who reported current use of cigarettes. A former smoker was one who ... had ever smoked ... but reported complete abstention for at least six months prior to interview. A never smoker was one ... never smoked .... Former smokers were also asked if they were currently using any type of nicotine-containing product ... and, if so, they were excluded. Subjects not meeting these criteria for ***cell assignment*** were also excluded. |
