'Skaalata' is the best equivalent for English 'to scale'. Then there are tens of less accurate ways to say it "in original Finnish".

'Sapluuna' is also the best understood equivalent for 'stencil', but let there be intentionally concocted 'kaavain' or 'malline' so as to defend the sacred purity of the Finnish language against foreign influence.

If this is a title of a chapter, a less anglicismic way to say it might be just ‘Kaavainten skaalaus’.
