English term or phrase: back-of-hand proof
I am reviewing a doc and I don't like the translation provided. Couldn't find other suggestions online.

Context
At a voltage above 50 V, use finger and back-of-hand-proof cables.
Translation:
القفازات العازلة

That's another context I found on the web, which may help drive the point clearer:

Finger- and back-of-hand proof with terminal shroud or terminal block.

Could you please provide another suggestion?

قفازات عازلة
Explanation:
the only way you can protect your fingers and the back of your hand is to wear قفازات عازلة. I firmly believe the translation you had found is accurate and elegent.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
disagree  Fuad Yahya: It is clear from the text that the noun modified by the expression "finger-and-back-of-hand-proof" is "cables," not "gloves."
