Catalan term or phrase: Ésser informat
Ésser informat, directament per la universitat o mitjançant altres entitats, de la formalització dels contractes i els convenis que comporten despeses o ingressos per a la universitat.

This is a FUNCTION of a particular body. "To be informed" is too passive to be described as a function (how can it be a function of it is at the receiving end?), yet "To keep informed" sounds too informal. Maybe "to ensure that it is kept informed"?????

I need ideas:-)

agree  Ross Andrew Parker: Given the context I think there's no way to avoid a passive structure even though it sounds a bit odd as a "function".
