refer to the Colon, and as you hint, the English in Wikipedia is pretty "lamentable". I think dear Frensp has it right, except that I might go with permanent companies, to indicate it is the ballet, chorus, orchestra etc.

Pat, practically all the refs I've found with 'stable ballet' either refer to the Colon or use the word as an ordinary adjective. Does your text refer to the Colón? I'd go with 'XXX theatre ballet company/orchestra/etc. I quite like Leonardo's 'permanent cast'

One would probably say 'the Colón Theatre ballet company', for example, but I can't think of a term in English that encompasses all the 'guys on the payroll'. I have seen 'stable ballet' but suspect it's a mistranslation. Perhaps an expression with 'performers'.
