One company bought out another company. This purchase involved the transfer of shares in stages over time. In other words, at different times, various proportions of the total share portfolio in one company were being sold to another company.
How best to translate "geleistet"?
I imagine there is a standard phrase for this kind of transaction, and I want to get it right ;-)
