gracias por tu nota, procuro aceptar las críticas. En Le Monde, por ejemplo, he encontrado 58 artículos en los que se utiliza "R & D", frente a 2 en los que se utiliza "R et D", y frente a ninguno con "R + D".

Que R&D viene del inglés es cierto; que ha venido para quedarse, también. Un saludo.

disagree  Brigitte Gaudin: Désolée, mais ça ce n'est pas français, c'est du franglish.//La presse n'est pas un bon ex. pour étayer ses arguments en matière de français correct (p. ex. R&D). Inscrivez-vous à un forum de langue française et vous verrez ce que l'on y lit à ce propos.

  -> En rigor, la versión francesa es RDI, pero a veces la I se confunde con "Industrialisation". R+D+I es español (en Internet sólo salen páginas españolas). Prefiero R&D&I; aunque coincido en que es franglish, las siglas R&D ya aparecen en la prensa francesa

Explanation:
Perdona, pero para mí la única tipografía correcta en francés (y soy francesa) es: R.-D. o R-D, o RD, o R+D. Y esto no va a cambiar porque se vea en Le Monde o en otros periódicos la sigla inglesa. Si valoráis hasta tal punto el uso en detrimento de lo correcto, no es extraño que el francés se vaya perdiendo y que tanta gente escriba mal.

Además, si R+D+i es español, parece aun más absurdo adaptarlo al francés con una sigla inglesa.

Y evidentemente hay mucho más que añadir...
