Keine wortliche Uebersetzung, aber ich glaube der Sinn ist der gleiche - Aus einer Web-site fuer Hydraulikzylinder:
Sollten Gasfedern durch äußere Einwirkung (Unfall, Kollision, extreme Überlastung,...) sichtbar beschädigt sein (abgebrochene oder deformierte Anschlussteile, verbogene Kolbenstange, verbeulter Zylinder,...), muss vor dem Ausbau oder sonstiger Handhabung der Druck abgelassen werden.
