\"Loss damage waivers (LDW) and collision damage waivers (CDW) from the rental company essentially take the place of your own collision and comprehensive insurance, letting you off the hook if the rental is stolen or vandalized, or if you crash the rental car company\'s vehicle. Some LDWs include the CDW, and some waivers require you to pay a deductible, just like your comprehensive and collision insurance.\"

C.D.W. is for rented cars, as well as comprehensive insurance is for your own car. The choice depends on the context. It is the same old story ;)

You obviously know what you are talking about, Alessandra. However, in the context, I think "fully comp" may be the correct translation as the job refers to a lease and not a rental (not obvious from my question). Thank you anyway.

disagree  Vittorio Preite: with a kasko insurance you do not waive anything, sorry.
