In a reference for someone who did an internship at an international organisation. It says he drafted a "Sachstandspapier" on the organisation's work in Africa. Anyone know what this is?

Comment: "Status report sounds like a good idea. Better than White Paper in this context, I think, because (although I may be wrong) I think a white paper is normally an official government report setting out the government's policy to be submitted to Parliament, whereas this is an international organisation.
