Ja, ist mir klar, dass die Frage bereits als abgeschlossen gilt, "trotzdem", wegen des noch offenen "zu meidenden". Und doch mit Vorbehalt, da ich eher engl. als dt., Muttersprachler bin. Dennoch - "smells & bells" klingt schmunzelnd ironisch nach einer denkbaren Phobie vor dem Zeremoniell des Anglikanischen, seitens wahrscheinlich tatkräftig pragmatisch veranlagten (wohlgemerkt brit., nicht US-style) Methodisten.
