Ein Gerät, mit dem endoskopische Aufnahmen gemacht werden.

Es wird beschrieben, wie Bilder aufzuzeichnen sind, welche Einstellungen man am Monitor vornehmen kann etc.
Es gibt quasi ein Videogerät, das Aufnahmen aufzeichnet sowie einen Monitor, auf dem die ausgegebenen Bilder angezeigt werden.

"In the setting of the monitor to which the video from this instrument is input, set the scan size to [OFF].
The edges of the displayed menus may sometimes **drop out** depending on the scan size setting.

Mein Versuch, bzw. meine Interpretation:

"Die Kanten der angezeigten Menüs können manchmal abhängig von der Einstellung der Scangröße über den Bildschirmrand hinausgehen."

Ich habe das so verstanden, dass je größer das Bild ist, das vom Ausgabegerät ausgegeben wird, desto eher kann es sein, dass das Bild nicht ganz "auf den Bildschirm passt". Oder liege ich hier falsch?
