Arabic term or phrase: خن plural seems to be خنون
غطاء خن الباخرة... It is used in a document about a shipping claim and it seems the cover has fallen off one of these. I think it may refer to the 'hold'. I can only find reference to it as a Farsi word meaning 'hold' of a ship. Can anyone confirm its meaning please?
