The boom lower ***meter-in cut valve***, located in the boom lower circuit, controls the boom flow rate control valve and pilot pressure oil to the boom 2 spool. When the boom down pilot valve is activated, boom cylinder return oil pressure shifts the boom lower ***meter-in cut valve****. The boom lower **meter-in cut valve** blocks boom down pilot oil pressure from shifting the boom 2 spool. Boom down pilot oil pressure shifts the boom flow rate control valve. Pump 1 supply oil is blocked from flowing to the boom 1 spool. Oil from the boom cylinder head end is routed through the boom regenerative valve to the boom cylinder rod end. This allows for additional flow to the other circuits that pump 1 supplies.
