español term
calendado testamento
español al inglés
Jurídico/Patentes
Derecho: (general)
Acceptance of inheritance
Hello, everyone. I'm having trouble with 'calendado testamento'. The term appears at least three times in the text I'm translating but I can't find a translation I like.
I don't know if it was a holographic will, although for some reason I very much doubt it.
The RAE gives the following definition of 'calendar':
1. tr. p. us. Poner en las escrituras, cartas u otros documentos la fecha o data del día, mes y año.

Does anyone know if there is an equivalent term in English?
I would very much appreciate your help. Thanks!

Note from asker:
'Duly' was exactly what I was looking for. 'Dated will' sounds as though it's an old-fashioned will! Thank you so much for your help. |
Obviously I know what a 'dated will' is but I'm thinking of the target audience. Thanks again for your help! |

: "Duly" is redundant, and it's not in the Spanish. "Dated" obviously doesn't mean oldfashioned.

duly is implied and anyway I put it in brackets

: By adding "duly" you have dispelled any possible misunderstandings in English.

Or do you suggest 'dated last will and testament'?
