This appears in a list of import/export items. I'm wondering if "alto registro" is a mistake and they really meant "ALTA en el registro...? Otherwise, I be surprised to find "high register" in this context...

Yes, text is from Mexico Thanks for sharing the link, Lorena. Somebody should post a solution. In Spain, I'm only familar with "pura raza", so I don't think "alto registro" is widely used or known here (but I may be mistaken).

Depending on the context, in the case of animals, ´alto registro´ would refer to ´purebred´.
