pebble: a small stone worn, smooth, and "round".
This is probably what they mean. I´ve never heard of "spherical rocks" used as a construction material.

: this would be my guess since you give little context, if you have other aggregates on the list you can decide the terms comparing smaller to larger (e.g. grit, pebbles, cobbles, boulders, etc)
