Have to agree with everyone else, it's a typo for "arranque".
The Diccionario Visual de Arquitectura gives the following:
Arranque: punto a partir del cual el arco, bóveda o cúpula asciende sobre su apoyo.
The translation given is "spring" or "springing". Here's a dictionary entry for the definition of "spring":
41. Also called springing. Architecture. a. the point at which an arch or dome rises from its support.
b. the rise or the angle of the rise of an arch.

Te copio abajo dos enlaces de Wikepedia, uno en español, otro en inglés, es lo que sale cuando buscas "arco". Hay muchos términos que te pueden ser útiles una vez que deduces las equivalencias. Si tuviera más tiempo, lo hubiera buscado yo. También miré en el diccionario "The Wiley Dictionary of Civil Engineering and Construction" y bajo "arranque" dice: intake, beginning (arch). Estoy de acuerdo con Salloz que es arranque y no arraque.

León, tengo que hacer una corrección. La definición que te di de mi diccionario técnico, era para otro contexto, lo leí mal. Cuando se refiere a arcos, arranque se traduce "spring line".
