My native language is German. Living in a bilingual environment since the mid 1970's has made US-English my second mother tongue.

During my employment as in-house translator with the US Forces in Berlin, Germany, and since then I have proofread and edited uncountable documents (novels, poetry, screenplays), and translated / reviewed uncountable translations (German <> English) of Civil Engineering, Internet security, Cosmetic and other content.

Please do NOT ask me about my "best rate". I have my standard rates which always apply. Thank you for your consideration.

Creative Writing services (German and English). When it is difficult to find just the right words, I will create them for you - perfect words for special occasions

Subtitling rates:

Depending on content, clarity of recording (how many people are speaking), and subject, my rates vary between 6.00 and 9.00 EUR per audio minute, or USD equivalent. There is a 20% surcharge for less than 48 hours turnaround. There will be a surcharge for the creation of time codes (transcription).

I am a published writer and poet, and a member of ISA (International Screenwriters' Association).
