I am a Chartered Linguist in Translation and Education with CIOL, and specialise in written translation work in the following areas: medical, education, science, industrial/engineering, literature, arts, plus many other fields.

I am a native English speaker and have near native speaker-level proficiency in Spanish and French, having lived and
worked in Spain, France and Latin America.

I have first-class writing, proof-reading and editing skills,
and a proven ability to hit deadlines, developed over more than four decades working in translation and education.

I have a 2:1 BA
Joint Honours degree in French and Spanish and in 2020 gained a DISTINCTION grade in my Masters in Translation Studies at the University of Exeter, including DISTINCTION in my Dissertation, in Specialised Translation (medical, engineering, business) and in use of CAT tools.
