Hi everyone,
I need to know the rules used by the official document issuing bodies to transcribe Macedonian names into Latin. For example, if I have someone whose name is Трајко Вељаноски, would it be transcribed as Trajko Veljanoski only or Trayko Velyanoski is also possible? I have difficultues with the letters ѓ (g or gj?), ж (zh o z), ј (j or y), ѕ, љ, њ, ќ, х, ч, џ, ш, ц. What I need to know basically is if someone has those letters in his name, how would his name appear in latin in official documents (passport). I would also like to know if it's possible to see letters like č, š in people's official documents or would they prefer a flattened version (c or s).
As many examples from real life people's documents as possible would be welcome. Please let me know if I am not being clear as to what exactly I need to know!

In the latest documents (passports and ID cards) issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs some changes have been introduced in terms of transcription into Latin. Here are the latest changes:

Македонска латиница
The Macedonian Spelling Rule Book from 2001 says the following:
Ѓ, ѓ is transcribed like Ġ, ģ, although Gj and gj are sometimes used (Ġ, ģ are special Unicode characters)
Ж, ж is transcribed as Ž, ž
Ѕ, ѕ is transcribed as Dz, dz
Љ, љ is transcribed as Lj, lj (or Ĺ, ľ)
Ќ, ќ is transcribed as the non-existent Unicode Latin characters Ќ, ќ, but K' and k' are also allowed
Ч, ч = Č, č
Џ, Џ = Dž, dž
Ш, ш - Š, š
