Plug the Cable or DSL modem into the power outlet.nThen connect the ethernet cable from your modem into the INTERNET port on the back of the Airxxxx, as shown.
Plug the ethernet cable supplied with your Airxxxxx into your desktop or notebook ethernet port. Plug the other end of the cable into one of the four LAN ports on the Airxxxx. The ports are located on the back of the unit as shown.
Default LED activity:
Power – Solid Green
Wireless – Off during bootup, On after bootup
Router – On

Access to the Airxxxx’s administrative Web interface can be password protected. You can leave this password blank but we recommend you choose a secure password containing letters and numbers. However, make sure to remember the password.nn
With no encryption set, it is easy for unwanted users/third parties to gain access to your wireless network. This allows them to use your internet connection and possibly access files on your computers. We highly recommend that you set up some form of encryption. To do so, please click the Back button. If you wish to proceed without encryption, please click the Next button.
SSID is a name string to identify your wireless LAN (WLAN) network. Please enter a string of up to 32 alphanumerical characters (letters and numbers) for your SSID.nn In addition, the setup wizard can help you secure your WLAN network communications by activating WEP-128bit encryption. All you need to do is enter a 13 character encryption key. If you do not wish to use encryption you can leave this field empty. As an alternative, you can also use xxxxx’s Client Manager application and the router’s AOSS button to have the encryption setup automatically.
