وأشار إلى أهمية الإرشاد المائي الذي يحد من هدر المياه في الري حيث يعطي الفلاح بشكل عام المزروعات أكثر من حاجتها ووفق دراسة" أجراها القسم في الحماميات وجد أن أحد الفلاحين يعطي محصول الشوندر ضعفي حاجته المائية معتمداً الري بالسرح .."
