ProZ.com powwow: Translators' DaySeptember 29, 2007, 3:00 pm United KingdomNottinghamIn personEnglish The first Nottingham powwow will be held on 29 September from 3 pm. I have now found a great pub in the stylish Lace Market area of the city: The Kean's Head, 46 St Marys Gate, NG1 1QA. It's down a quiet side street and seems a cosy, civilised sort of place with great drinks and food should we need a snack. For a map and review, check out: http://www.myvillage.com/nottingham/restaurants-reviews-keans-head.htm Closest parking is probably the multistorey above the Broadmarsh bus station/shopping centre. To get to the pub come out of the shopping centre, turn right uphill, cross the road/tramlines opposite La Tasca (a Spanish restaurant), head past the big church that is now a Pitcher & Piano bar and keep walking for a couple of mins until you reach a narrow left turning at a hotel - that road is St Mary's Gate. The pub is a little way up on the left. See you there I hope. Please join us! |
